The author says Success is the result of daily habits.

James Clear suggests several tools and techniques to build a new habit and to get over a bad one.  True stories from Olympic champions, award-winning artists, business leaders, life-saving physicians, and star comedians inspire the readers to who use the science of small habits successfully.

The Goldilocks Rule states that humans experience peak motivation when working on tasks that are right on the edge of their current abilities. This is explained with analogy of a  pot of boiling water which will soften a potato but harden an egg. You can’t control whether you’re a potato or an egg, but you can decide to be hard or soft.
